Awaken runs its own alarm inside the app. Set your wake-up time once and Awaken handles the rest. You can keep your default iPhone alarm as a backup while you settle in, but most people delete it within a week.
It keeps going. You can snooze it once for ten minutes, but it comes back, and there is no dismiss button. The only way to end it is to open the verse and read it aloud. That is the whole point, and it works.
You choose. Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, games, anything that eats your morning. Awaken uses Apple's Screen Time controls, so the lock is enforced by iOS itself until your ritual is done.
